About Me

To live a life of faith-driven integrity, help others discover their strength through growth and adversity, and create stories, both written and lived, that reflect the kind of purpose worth daring.

Aude Aliquid Dignum

My Vision

Hi, I’m Peter Thompson.

Just a guy with a curious mind, a compassionate heart, and a deep belief that we’re all capable of more than we think.

I didn’t start writing because I had everything figured out. I started writing because of a mountain. When I was a teenager, I went on a two-week survival trip that ended at the summit of Mount Whitney, the tallest peak in the lower 48 states. It was grueling. There were moments where my mental toughness completely failed me. But I made it. And when I came back, I had this sense that there was a story in that experience, something worth sharing. It just took years of living to understand what it was.

Young Peter in the Army

My path hasn’t been straight. I’ve marched through Army drills, worked in science labs, trained security teams, led global teams of engineers and developers, and done more than a few hard jobs in between. I grew up in hard circumstances, raised by a single mother who modeled faith-driven integrity before I ever had a name for it. Each season taught me something new about leadership, grit, failure, and what it means to keep going when the hill in front of you looks impossible.

I don’t claim to have it all figured out.

I’m an author in progress, learning out loud as I explore what it means to live a life of purpose, perseverance, and quiet strength. My writing leans into themes like self-improvement, spiritual growth, and finding your footing when the ground gets shaky.

When I’m not writing, I’m probably cooking, taking photos, reading, or slowly teaching myself piano. I love creating new adventures with my wife and kids, because in the end, family is where the real stories are made.

If you’re someone who believes there’s still something worthy to dare, I hope you’ll stick around. I’m glad you’re here.

My Core Values

Core Values

Resilience through Faith

I believe strength is often born in adversity and that faith isn’t about avoiding hardship. It’s about enduring it with purpose. I want you to know you’re not alone, that you can withstand the storm, and that faith isn’t weakness. It’s armor.

Purposeful Growth

I don’t only write to teach, I write to grow. Life is a journey of continuous learning, and I believe that the process of bettering oneself isn’t just noble, it’s necessary. I don’t have all the answers, but I’m committed to asking better questions and walking beside anyone ready to do the same.

Family First, Always

Success means nothing if it isn’t shared with the people I love. I believe that character is formed in the home and that the deepest lessons are lived, not just taught. Whether it’s a quiet dinner, a planned adventure, or a story shared over coffee, I try to live what I write. My family is not a backdrop or a prop. They are the reason behind every chapter.

My Mission

I’m here to live with faith, grow with purpose, and help others do the same. Whether through a story, a shared struggle, or a simple word of encouragement, I want my life and my writing to remind people they’re stronger than they think and made for more.
